About This
- Heavy-Duty & Built to Last: Moving away from brittle, single-use traditional trays, both products are made from heavy-duty, injection-molded BPA-free PPE plastic. This premium material is exceptionally sturdy and UV-resistant, meaning it won't warp, crack, or degrade under long-term outdoor exposure or harsh weather. It is built for years of reuse—essentially a lifetime investment.
- Perfect Ecosystem Compatibility: The bottom watering trays are custom-engineered for the Vego Seedling Suite, featuring gentle alignment ridges at the base. This ensures that the seedling trays fit perfectly and stay securely locked in place. The design accommodates standard 1010 and 1020 sizes for streamlined modular stacking and eliminates any accidental slipping or sliding.
- Mess-Free & Efficient Bottom Watering: The bottom watering trays completely eliminate the mess of traditional top-down watering, which can wash away soil and create clutter. By storing water at the base, the soil absorbs moisture from the bottom up via capillary action. This hassle-free watering method ensures even soil moisture, prevents root rot from overwatering, and saves you from the hassle of constant monitoring.
- Superior Breathability: Each cell of the seedling tray features innovative air-pruning strips on the sides. This unique design optimizes airflow and root respiration. When the roots reach the edge, they are naturally "air-pruned" by the exposure to air, stimulating the growth of a dense, robust network of lateral roots. This drastically minimizes transplant shock and ensures healthier plant establishment
- Easy Transplanting & Transport: The seedling trays feature large openings at the bottom. You can cleanly pop out the seedlings with a gentle push, keeping the root ball intact without causing any damage. The bottom watering trays are equipped with thick, heavy-duty handles on both ends. This allows you to smoothly and gently transport heavy loads of soil and water without the tray flexing or buckling, keeping your delicate seedlings safe and undisturbed.
