About This
- Positive Locking Mechanism: The distinctive locking nut twists down to mechanically clamp the tape over the barb. This "annular compression" creates a seal that is far superior to standard friction-barb fittings, preventing "blowouts" even when the tape softens in the summer heat.
- Zero Flow Restriction: By replacing a kink-prone bend with a smooth molded elbow, you eliminate friction loss and pressure drops, ensuring downstream emitters work at peak efficiency.
- Fully Reusable: Unlike compression fittings that "bite" into the plastic and require cutting to remove, Tape Loc fittings can be unlocked and removed in seconds. Perfect for seasonal gardens where lines are moved or stored during winter.
- Tool-Free Installation: No clamps, ratchets, or hot water required. The large, textured nut is designed for easy hand-tightening.
- UV & Chemical Resistant: Molded from high-grade polypropylene with UV stabilizers, these fittings resist cracking from sun exposure and are chemically inert to standard fertilizers used in fertigation systems.
- Material: Polypropylene with Carbon Black/UV Stabilizers
- Product Type: Tape Loc Elbow (90 Degree)
- Operating Pressure: 0 - 15 PSI (Do not exceed tape rating)
- Tape Wall Thickness: Fits 6 mil to 15 mil tape
